ESMT

What is Equine Sports Massage Therapy?
How can it benefit my horse?

EMST

Equine massage therapists use a range of techniques to help the horse feel as comfortable as possible. We help to maintain health, prevent injury and address problems that your horse may have. When muscles are overused or misused, they can become sore and overstretched. The horse can then compensate by improperly using other muscles or tensing up. This could then lead to potential injury, discomfort, restricted movement and a decrease in performance quality. There are many different routines for all different types of horses. These include maintenance, rehabilitation, sports, relaxation, vet referrals and pre/post competition. I treat the whole of the horses body to help get the best results.
I am qualified to use therapeutic ultrasound on horses. I also am qualified to apply taping applications onto horses.
Tools that assist me in my work include red light therapy, percussion equipment, fascial edge tool and equissage.
